SplashLandscape Garden

A memory of lagoons, dried up river beds and the image of water hurtling down the external staircase of this contemporary extension provided inspiration for this design. Convex tiles representing water droplets ripple outwards within the blue pebble bed. Contrasting white pebbles containing five islands clad with echeverias swirl towards the far right water cascade. Agapanthus, white solanum & ceanothus frame the seat. The left bank heaves with a mass planting of Pittosporum Nanum. Aloes in pots define the lower area beneath the staircase. Special thanks to Delfina and Rory for magical tiles and stonework.
